Welcome to Casa Illica
A hotel that offers you so much more...
From an altitude of 200 meters, Casa Illica sits within the magical world of Castell'Arquato, overlooking the valley of one of the most beautiful medieval castles in Italy, the Castles of the Duke of Parma and Piacenza.
It is a historic villa bound by the Superintend of Cultural Heritage, and has retained the name of it's original owner - poet, libretist and composer to Giacomo Puccini and Pietro Mascagni - Luigi Illica is the pride of Castell'Arquato.
The house was fully renovated in 2008, and is now a maison de charme (partner of Historic Houses - Historical Fashion Hotels), offering 3 bedrooms and 2 suites with breathtaking views of the Emillian landscape. Casa Illica is located in the heart of Castell'Arquato, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, halfway between Parma and Piacenza in the lands of Giuseppe Verdi. Casa Illica is just over 1 hour from Milan, 2 hours from Turin and Genoa, and only 1 hour and a half from Bologna.
